The garden is really starting to take off. We have an abundance of new seedlings that have never been seen before, many of them in the red and purple range. Phil has been working on reds, and I have been doing purples. (I have done some reds, though, and Phil has also crossed purples, so we don't always know who has done the crossing.) Phil moved over 300 clumps out of the big bed to make room for these new faces, and to kill the strawberry and wild strawberry that was running rampant in the bed. He has already moved about 50 new seedlings into this big bed, and our blooming season is just beginning. Here are some of the favorites we have tagged in the last two days.
