R.H. Pat Davis

Nicknamed Unstoppable, this flower is named in honor of Phil's Uncle Pat.  Pat was an avid gardener and president of the Rose Society for many years. The deep rich red of this flower is reminiscent of the red roses that Uncle Pat loved to grow.  Tet, SE, Early to early mid with rebloom, RHPD stands at 29-30 inches with sturdy scapes.  The deep red bloom is 6.25 inches and is especially beautiful in a clump.  A vigorous grower,  RHPD is always loaded with buds.  The blooms have thick substance that allows them to hold up well in both high heat and heavy rain.  This cultivar is a great plant with a pretty face that combines the beauty, fertility, and hardiness of its parents, Mary Claiborne Davis and Insider Trading.
